10:17 p.m.

there was a protest here on saturday.

you might have heard, it was on the nightly news. about a hundered thousand people were there. it was pretty big.

i could hear them all in justin herman plaza from eighteen stories up, but it didn't seem like too many people were there when i looked down out the window. then i realized that the crowd went around the corner and up market street for a ways.

there were alot of people. alot. later, when it was time for me to go home, i had to walk six blocks up california to catch the muni on montgomery. the muni on montgomery, which is the closest muni station to the embarcadero that isn't on market street. there just wasn't any way to make it through. there were alot people.

i wonder if any of the people that were there knew who organized the protest that they were protesting at. what their politics are, what they support.

everyone has agendas. this is something you need to realize.

but aside from the civil unrest, i've had a rather lazy weekend. malinda and i, just hanging out. spinning some records, watching some movies. a little shopping, a little sexing here and there.

all in all, all the excitement that i need.
