my most favorite thing in the whole wide world:

whenever i am visually presented with san francisco, screaming 'hey, i live there!' as though the idea that i live in san francisco is something that i had just then realized.

my second most favorite thing in the world:

malinda.

last night was a good night. first, hanging out with malinda. and then later, while back home, boys and girls.

and my friends, i stand here before you to say that, yes! yes, freddie prinze jr has actually been in a good movie. and that movie? well, that movie is boys and girls.

it is good, boys and girls. honest. and also, it was filmed in san francisco.

plus, claire forlani. she is in the movie too. and claire forlani is pretty. and she's english. and she played neal cassidy's girlfriend in the last time i committed suicide.

so there.

but, before that. before boys and girls, there was malinda.

i went down to the mission last night to meet mal at a bar called phoenix. on valencia, between 19th and 20th.

her older brother was spinning 2step along with this cute blonde british-import who was spinning some housemusic. and the housemusic was definitely a nice surprise, it had been a while.

and i had me some drinks and got all sorts of tipsy. plus, the blonde dropped this david gray please forgive me remix that i'd never heard before. i think i remember it being good, but i can't say for certain.

and malinda kept rapping her arm around mine as we were walking back from cigarettes outside. and that was a very nice thing indeed, yes.

yes.

and then, back home. the television to myself, free of roommates. cold pizza and the movie.

perfect, yes.

now, if i could only watch me some home movies.

i think that one's a lost cause though.
